This course covers the theory of designing stand-alone power systems. There is some reference information included on the installation of these systems. Students will learn about the different system equipment, sizing inverters, sizing batteries, sizing renewable generators, sizing fuel generators, sizing cables and sizing the correct protection systems.
This course covers the theory of designing grid-connected PV systems. There is some reference information included on the installation of these systems. Students will learn about the different system components, how to correctly size and match an array and inverter, and also how to ensure the correct protection devices are used.
This course covers the theory of designing grid-connected battery storage systems. There is some reference information included on the installation of these systems. Students will learn about the different system functionalities, sizing inverters, sizing batteries, sizing cables and sizing the correct protection systems.
